Riverdale Season 3, Episode 4 Preview: "The Midnight Club"

Riverdale will take a break next week from the Archie/Shawshank Redemption storyline and such to air their most-anticipated episode of the year. We will flashback to the 80's when the groups parents were attending Riverdale High and learn the secrets The Midnight Club. It is going to be a huge kick to see the gang playing their parents, and that they got Anthony Michael Hall to play a part is just icing on the cake. Will we see the origin of the Gargoyle King? We know that they all played Griffins and Gargoyles, we know that they knew about the blue drink. Maybe we will get a Sabrina/Greendale tie-in, who knows? I for one am excited to find out.

When Betty (Lili Reinhart) confronts Alice (Madchen Amick) about Gryphons and Gargoyles, Alice has no choice but to come clean about how she, along with a young Fred (KJ Apa), FP (Cole Sprouse), Hermoine (Camila Mendes), Hiram (guest star Michael Consuelos), Sierra (Ashleigh Murray), Penelope (Madelaine Petsch) and Tom (Casey Cott), played the game in the early 90's – and how a shocking mystery has been plaguing them all ever since.

Marisol Nichols, Charles Melton and Vanessa Morgan also star.

Riverdale airs Wednesday's at 8PM on The CW and steams for free shortly after airing on The CW app.
