"Snabba Cash" Sequel Series Coming to Netflix
Snabba Cash (Easy Money) was released in 2010, and depicted the rise of J.W. Westlund (Joel Kinnaman) through the organized crime scene of Stockholm, Sweden. Overall, there were three Snabba Cash movies released, with a planned American remake rumored to star Zac Efron.
Right now, it's looking like those remake plans might be on the back-burner. Netflix just announced that they are releasing a six-part series from the creators of Snabba Cash, which picks up the story of the original movies and sets the timeline forward 10 years.
The new Snabba Cash series will be produced by SF Studios, which is a good fit- they produced the original films, too. Oskar Söderlund will be writing the screenplay, and adapted the series with the help of Jens Lapidus, who wrote the books the original movies were based off of.

Netflix is pretty happy about the deal, too:

The biggest unanswered question for me right now is whether Joel Kinnaman will be returning to play Westlund. Kinnaman has been getting some pretty good projects lately, having played the lead in the first season of Altered Carbon on Netflix, and putting in some incredible work as Erik Heller on Amazon Prime Video's Hanna remake.
