The Flash S07E05 Preview: Barry's Worst Fears; Caitlin's Frosty Roomie
Last week's episode of The CW's The Flash saw Central City beginning to rebuild from the Mirrorverse incursion- Abra Kadabra (David Dastmalchian) bringing back "Crisis" in a heartbreaking and deadly way, Iris (Candice Patton) and Barry (Grant Gustin) both beginning to deal with their respective guilt and trauma, and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Frost dealing with a different type of separation anxiety. Which brings us to the following preview package for this week's "Fear Me"- with Barry needing to confront his own worst fears to save the day and Iris keeping a watch on Joe's (Jesse L. Martin) dealings with Kristen Kramer (Carmen Moore), while Caitlin and Frost try to figure out their next steps.
Here's a look at the official promo and overview for this week's episode of The CW's The Flash, "Fear Me":
The Flash Season 7, Episode 5 "Fear Me": PSYCH ATTACKS CENTRAL CITY – When a powerful new villain, Psych (guest star Ennis Esmer), channels and amplifies everyone's fears in order to wreak havoc on Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes, with Cecile's (Danielle Nicolet) help, that he must face his own worst fear in order to beat this new threat. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) is surprised when Kristen Kramer (guest star Carmen Moore) from the Governor's Municipal Logistics Commission drops into CCPD for a visit. Iris (Candice Patton) warns her father to dig deeper on why Kristen is actually there. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Frost argue about how to live their lives. David McWhirter directed the episode, with a story by Thomas Pound and a teleplay by Lauren Barnett and Christina M. Walker.
After a thrilling cliffhanger last season which saw the new Mirror Master (Efrat Dor) victorious and still-at-large in Central City, The Flash must regroup in order to stop her and find a way to make contact with his missing wife, Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton). With help from the rest of Team Flash, which includes superheroes Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) and Nash Wells (Tom Cavanagh), as well as the Flash's adoptive father Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), Meta-Attorney Cecile Horton (Danielle Nicolet), tough cub reporter Allegra Garcia (Kayla Compton) and brilliant tech-nerd Chester P. Runk (Brandon McKnight)… Flash will ultimately defeat Mirror Master. But in doing so, he'll also unleash an even more powerful and devastating threat on Central City: one that threatens to tear his team—and his marriage—apart.
