Umbrella Academy Was the Second Most-Watched Netflix Show Of 2019

At the Dark Horse presentation at New York Comic Con, as well as announcing a new Stranger Things comic book series, which Jude is probably frantically reporting right now, they also talked about Umbrella Academy, the comic book by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba that originated at Dark Horse.

And dropped the statistic that Dark Horse was party to, courtesy of Netflix, that Umbrella Academy was the second most-watched Netflix show behind Stranger Things.

Which is not bad, not bad at all. When you consider it has everything from Orange Is The New Black to The Crown to Daredevil to contend with.

No wonder Dark Horse is proud of their Umbrella Academy hardcovers, with a third planned for 2020, and a Hazel And ChaCha spin-off oneshot for Christmas…
