WWE Monday Night Raw Being Billed as "The Night of Grudge Matches"

With the success of AEW's Fyter Fest and NXT's Great American Bash, continuing next week with AEW's Fight for the Fallen, WWE is going all-in on the special episode thing. This Monday's upcoming episode of WWE Raw is being billed as "The Night of Grudge Matches," with a commercial saying so running repeatedly during WWE SmackDown on Friday.

Here's the grudge matches in question. First, and most importantly, Sasha Banks and Bayley will defend their WWE Women's Tag Team Championships against The Kabuki Warriors. Here's WWE's blurb about the match.

Last Monday, Raw Women's Champion Asuka defeated SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley in an epic Champion vs. Champion Match. Now, she'll try and make it two in a row over Bayley Dos Straps, as The Empress of Tomorrow & Kairi Sane challenge Sasha Banks & Bayley for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

Can The Kabuki Warriors dethrone the champions and start their second stint with the titles, or will The Boss and Bayley continue to reign supreme?

That match could main event a PPV. It should main event a PPV. Maybe every PPV. But that's not all that's happening on Monday. It looks like R-Truth's interaction with Randy Orton on the last episode of Raw will pay off in a match. Poor Truth. Here's how WWE lays it out.

Last week, 24/7 Champion R-Truth crossed paths with Randy Orton and Ric Flair while trying to evade Akira Tozawa and his ninjas. While The Viper misdirected Tozawa, keeping them off R-Truth's tail, he will likely not be as kind when they clash this Monday on Raw.

Raw will play host to a WrestleMania rematch when Kevin Owens goes one-on-one with Seth Rollins. At The Show of Shows, KO emerged victorious over The Monday Night Messiah after leaping off the WrestleMania sign and crashing through Rollins on the commentary table.
