Spider-Gwen #1 Pirated In Full, Last Night

1424730631114Since the arrival of digital comics, posting complete scans of comic books online before they hit the stores has fallen out of favour amongst pirates. Why go to all that bother when the publishers will be dong it for you in 24 hours or so? And anyway, people grow up, move on, change their habits, hobbies and priorties.

Well, not the poster known as Scanbro who, last night, began posting the entire first issue of the much anticipated Spider-Gwen #1 on the 4chan /co forum as well as posting plot spoilers for tomorrow's Amazing Spider-Man and New Avengers as well.

We've covered Scanbro's actions before, but he hasn't been quite as active of late. And it seems this may be less likely to happen in the future as well, saying,

I appreciate the sentiments, but not sure how much longer I can do this. Depends on many financial factors in my life coming up, need to find a way to pay the bills.

and

It's more that I need to find "real work" than working a little here and there at a comic store. Finding real work means no more working at the comic store, which means no more early storytimes. Maybe. Maybe not.

I don't think Marvel would shed a tear. We even got a mention, regarding previous coverage.

"Thanks, Scanbro. Hope you didn't get burned by that BleedingCool asshat."

Bleeding Cool has never done anything other than mention me. They know nothing.

All true…
