Gears of War 4 is Microsoft's crown jewell this year, undoubtedly their biggest first party exclusive. That is why it is not surprising that the game got a massive showing before its holiday release.

We were treated to some live gameplay at the show, and it was suitably Gears-y. It featured a rescue mission, in a rather aggressive storm. Fire fights in environments that are falling apart, all that. These is even a cool blade gun that cuts things to pieces. It looked quite intense.

Count me in for this. It looks fantastic.
