Taking A New York Toy Fair Pre-Show Walkaround With Bluefin

Friday evening I got the opportunity to roam through BLUEFIN's booth for a pre-show tease. As we know, Bluefin is the distributor for a variety of collectibles from franchises like Star Wars, Marvel, Godzilla, Gundam, Naruto, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball. Saint Seiya, Studio Ghibli… and exclusive distributor for BANDAI and TAMASHII NATIONS.

The emphasis was, mostly, on TAMASHII NATIONS and BANDAI HOBBY- which spotlighted some wonderful pieces for MARVEL and Star Wars. It included some wonderful model kits for fans to put together- already pre colored and no glue necessary. The details were just mind blowing. We also saw some S.H. FIGUARTS action figures including MARVEL's Iron Man. They stated they will also be releasing Dr. Strange, and if all goes well we might be able to see more MARVEL fully-posable action figures like Spiderman. They will, also, be releasing WWE WRESTLING professional wrestling characters: The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Triple H.

Hands down, i have to say, my favorite line up of figures is the STAR WARS/MARVEL SAMURAI- those are simply stunning. And for us, robot/monster lovers, they promised they have more gigantic robots and monsters in the works, like more Godzilla… yes! And the most exciting announcement, in my humble opinion, was: they will be working with PACIFIC RIM 2! My dreams are now coming true.
