TinyBuild Announces 'Graveyard Keeper' So You Can Play The Night Shift

Have you ever wanted to play the guy in Monty Python and the Holy Grail who walked around banging a pot screaming "Bring out your dead" as your friends loaded up fake bodies into a cart? …No? That was just us? Never mind. For those of you wondering what the hell happens to all the dead bodies left laying around everywhere in adventure games, tinyBuild has finally made a game to satisfy your quest for trivial knowledge in Graveyard Keeper.

In a quick press release sent out today, the game (developed with Lazy Bear Games) will put you in the shoes of a graveyard attendant who has to figure out the best way to manage all the bodies being brought his way.

Build and manage your own medieval graveyard while finding shortcuts to cut costs, expand into entertainment with witch-burning festivals, and scare nearby villagers into attending church. This is a game of capitalism and doing whatever it takes to build a thriving business.

A demo of the game will be available at PAX East in a couple weeks. The game will basically put you in ethical dilemmas while improving the grounds and even the home/church you live in. You'll also be able to do a little bit of dungeon crawling while forging partnerships with businesses in town and making your own specialty items. This sounds like an awesome game that's a cross between simulator and adventure, no release date yet, just that it will be coming out for PC and Xbox One in 2017.
