Play Ms. Pac-Man On Google Maps Today
You can play Ms. Pac-Man on Google Maps today. Because why the hell not right? This might work better in some places than others. I've got an easy time of it, being in New York at the moment, but heading out of the cities might be a bit odd. Long stretches of freeway must be hell for this. Islands too have to have a worse time of it than the lucky few to live in a grid system.
This isn't the first time Google Maps has become a video game, we had the precurser to Pokemon Go on Google Maps a few years back, if everyone remembers. That was decently fun, and managed to get us all what we'd wanted for years. They even did Pac-Man on Google Maps a few years back, but this year it's his female counterpart's time to shine. And on May 21, 2010 the Google Doodle was Pac-Man, which you can still go play by typing "pacman" into Google.
Not sure there's a market for augmented reality Ms. Pac-Man, but the internet is loving it so far. If you want to join in on the fun, just hit the Ms. Pac-Man button on the botton of Google Maps to get started.
Thanks to Ray Dillon, inker and colorist on DC's Legend of Wonder Woman, for the find on Twitter and Instagram.
