'Darkest Dungeon' Devs Announce A Nintendo Switch Release

Darkest Dungeon is an interesting indie game that has been released on PC, PS4, Vita, and iOS in early 2016. Like a lot of indie titles, after a year of being on the market, we kind of assumed that's the last we'd hear of the game and we'd eventually see Red Hook Studios move onto other projects. Turns out one of those projects was getting the game added to the Nintendo Switch library. Below is a tweet sent out by the developers with a cool reveal at the end.

Darkest Dungeon becomes the latest indie title to join the ranks on the Nintendo Switch after the company made great strides to include indie titles this year. No official date was given as to when we'd see the turn-based strategy title released for the console, but it's a pretty safe bet that if we're seeing it played on the Switch, it's most likely passed all the preliminary steps and now it's just a matter of time for the game to be added to the eShop. If you haven't tried the game before, you might want to give it a shot on PC before you get a chance to play on the Switch.
