Exclusive Look Inside Bryan Talbot's Grandville: Force Majeure
The Grandville: Force Majeure hardcover from Bryan Talbot is coming out 11/01 and Dark Horse has sent over some exclusive preview pages for us to share. The synopsis for this volume reads: Wanted for murder and on the run, Detective Inspector LeBrock is the victim of a diabolical scheme engineered by gangland overlord Tiberius Koenig. But LeBrock is a fighter, and now against insurmountable odds, the British Badger risks all to thwart Koenig's plot and save queen, country, and all he loves! This is the fifth volume and the grand finale for the series.
Grandville was also recently option for a TV series by Euston Films. The series would be a mixture of live action, with CGI for animal and other effects. They say 'Writer Julian Simpson is working on the development of a TV adaptation of Bryan Talbot's ground breaking series of graphic novels with Euston Films (part of FremantleMedia UK), under the collective title Grandville.' The production is currently in the process of finding a director.
Grandville: Force Majeure is a 176 page, full-color hardcover graphic novel priced at $24.99 and meant for audience 16 and up.
