Warner Brother's and IO Interactive Announce Hitman HD Collection
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and IO Interactive announced the Hitman HD Enhanced Collection today, which compiles 4K remastered versions of Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Absolution.
Both games have been remastered to play in 4K resolution at 60 fps speed. They also include other improvements to make them feel more fluid for modern audiences, like increased texture resolution, upgraded texture formats, super-sampling, upscale support, heightened shadow map and mirror resolutions, improved lighting, and updated controls.
"We're very happy with this collection and how we were able to update and remaster two of our classic Hitman titles for modern consoles," said Hakan Abrak, CEO, IO Interactive. "Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Absolution have helped us on our journey to where we are today, and we're looking forward to players enjoying them in 4K and 60 fps."
Hitman: Blood Money includes some of Agent 47's most iconic hits and takes players from the vineyards of Chile to the Paris Opera House and even the White House itself as 47 combats a rival faction of assassin's called "The Franchise." Hitman: Absolution is a more cinematic story, and follows Agent 47 on a mission of redemption with a distinctive art style, rich dialogue, and performances by an impressive Hollywood cast.
Hitman HD Enhanced Collection will be available digitally on January 11, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will retail for $59.99 USD.
