Genestealer Cults Trailer, Terrain, and More From Games Workshop
Games Workshop isn't wasting any time getting people geared up for the new year. We got news of the new Gloomspite Gitz right out of the gate, and now, we have this nifty little trailer showing off some of the cool new miniatures that are coming to your game store real freaking soon:
We love the art design for the trailer, but really wish GW would put out some actual animation in this art style. It's super evocative of Aeon Flux shorts from the '90s, and it suits the material beautifully. The models shown off at the end of the trailer are pretty much everything a Genestealer Cults player would want, all the way down to the Cult Buggy!
Get your tables ready for the new Urban Conquest boxed set, which will help players build out epic campaigns in the 41st millennium. The campaign system promises enough content to keep players busy for weeks, with each faction able to capture resources and provide a new style of narrative play to the game.
You'll find rules for playing Urban Conquest in the Urban Conquest rulebook – your guide to street combat in the 41st Millennium. This rulebook has Cities of Death rules for adding extra depth to your battlefields, Urban Battlezones, new missions, Stratagems, lore and more, making it an invaluable resource for any would-be campaign master.
With all these groovy new armies and a brand new campaign system, we're going to need some terrain to play on, right? The Manufactorum includes all new sprues that can be assembled into a piece of factory terrain and is compatible with pieces from the Sector Mechanicus and Sector Imperialis terrain sets. The Manufactorum looks like it would fit right in on a Killteam table, too, so you're definitely getting your money's worth with this kit.
All of these goodies are up for pre-order shortly, keep an eye on the Warhammer Community page for more information, or let your local GW stockist or independent game store know you would like to order them.
