Netflix is Coming to E3 This Year to Talk About Games
The official E3 twitter account announced yesterday that TV and movie streaming service Netflix will be joining the E3 Coliseum lineup to discuss their future game plans. Netflix has already dipped its feet into video games with Bandersnatch and Minecraft: Story Mode, but it appears they plan to develop more Netflix Originals into video games in the coming year.
The official Netflix account responded with a small teaser about Stranger Things: The Game, but also indicated there are more Netflix shows getting game adaptations, so there's that to look forward to.
We know basically nothing else about the Netflix E3 panel, not even what time or day it will be held on during the E3 Coliseum. We'll update you if we hear more.
E3 2019 is being held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 11 through the 13th. As always, E3 comes with a ton of pre-show press conferences. You can see the full schedule, so far, here.
E3 this year is scheduled to be a bit different from previous years as Sony will not be holding a pre-show press conference, instead their usual spot on Monday night will be taken by Square Enix. EA will again be holding their own pre-E3 bash off-site at the Hollywood Palladium from June 7th through June 9th.
