New York Toy Fair: Power Rangers Lightning Collection Looks Amazing

Go Go Power Rangers! Multiple times at Hasbro's New York Toy Fair presentation you could hear this shouted enthusiastically. And why not? Hasbro is going all in, having bought the property in last years bombshell Toy Fair announcement. With the new show Beast Morphers debuting in March, and their new Lightning Collection also on the way, Power Rangers fans are very excited to see what they can bring to their favorite brand. We got a snes of it today, and it was awesome.

First, Beast Morphers. A lot of these were shown in the week leading up to today, but I can say now after seeing them in person that these are going to be fun to collect. All kinds of Beast Morphers figures are coming. Multiple articulation figures, 12 inch figures, zords, Playskool figures, role play items. Basically, if you love the show when it starts, you will be in heaven collecting the line. All of this stuff will be in stores in April.

The main event for collectors however is their new Lightning Collection line of six inch figures. They showed off the first wave of figures today: the White Ranger, Lord Zedd, the Dino Charge Red Ranger, and S.P.D Shadow Ranger. All four are highly articulated and feature amazing sculpt, along with super accurate weapons for each and energy effects. All housed in sweet window box packaging. Artist Tom Whalen provides the art for the boxes. They also showed a Gamestop exclusive Goldar that is available for preorder now. The first wave of Lightning Collection figures is up for preorder on Hasbro Pulse right now.
