Lieutenant James Gordon plays a central role in Batman: Year One as he dives into a corrupt Gotham. Transferred from Chicago, Gordon arrives to find the city's police force riddled with brutality and bribery. He's a good man and cop in a broken system, who is now trying to clean up the department while surviving among his corrupt colleagues. As the story goes on, he finds himself in an uneasy alliance with the new vigilante in town, Batman, who also seems to be restoring justice to Gotham.
Lt. James Gordon is now finally getting his very first DC Multiverse figure as McFarlane Toys captures his appearances in the DC Comics Batman: Year One comic. Gordon is featured in his classic outfit with a plastic brown trench coat as a revolver accessory, which is nice to see. It is surprising to see James Gordon take this long to arrive in the DC Multiverse; sadly, he will be a Walmart Exclusive. He is priced at $24.99 and will release alongside the Batman: Year One Part 4 Caped Crusader figure. Be on the lookout for him arriving in stores in May 2025.
