New Marvel Legends Dark Avengers Spider-Man Figure Revealed

New York Comic Con is upon us and Hasbro has revealed some new Marvel Legends figures right from the pages of the comics

Ai Apaec is a lesser-known Marvel Comics supervillain based on a deity from South American mythology. He first appeared in Osborn #1 (2011). He is part man, part spider, with venomous fangs, multiple eyes, and snake-like hair. The U.S. government would eventually imprison him. However, after the events of Marvel Comics' Secret Invasion, Norman Osborn takes command of S.H.I.E.L.D. and is recruited to join the Dark Avengers. Ai Apaec was genetically altered to resemble a six-armed version of Spider-Man, but in his black suit, tricking the people.

Hasbro now brings another member of the Dark Avengers to the Marvel Legends line as Ai Apaec is back as Spider-Man, six-arms and all. This marks the fourth recently released Dark Avengers release over the past year, with Norman Osborn as Iron Patriot, Daken as Wolverine, Warbird, and now Spider-Man. Ai will feature two swappable heads, extra hands, and a Build-A-Figure part to build Marvel Comics The Executioner. Pre-orders for Spider-Man are set to arrive today (10/10) on Hasbro Pulse at 1 PM EST and other retailers for $27.99 with a Fall 2025 release date.
