And this is what they had to say.
Renewed interest and Superman (and the demise of the New 52, aka the Jason Todd of the New 52 Universe) boosted two DC Superman titles into our Top Ten–and the inimitable skills of Joseph Michael Linsner pushed Harley Quinn's Little Black Book into our Top Ten as well! But not even these books could defeat the Star Wars juggernaut…
The impending death of Superman has renewed interest in the original Death of Superman, boosting back issue sales.
Average Week for books with only a coupe of books breaking away fro the rest of the pack. Deadpool #10 was #1 with Obi Wan missing the tie by just one copy.
Great week for back-issue sales with people playing catch up since this week was moderate with the titles put out from the publishers. American Alien still doing strong and still have chunks for Daredevil being taken by customers. The surprise mover for the week were Shazam issue's being picked up by at least a dozen different customers.
Nice mix between the big 2. Seems unusual lately.
Not a bad week. Action Comics sold out Wednesday. That was quite the surprise. Still feels like over all people are waiting for Rebirth and Civil War II to start and trying to save money before the two events start.
Spider-Man and Deadpool has long been a big seller for us, but this week it finally took the top spot. Seems like all the people who had been picking up the last 3 issues came out in droves for this one. It might even be our best selling Marvel book….
Dark Souls did really well for us. Seems like there's a very passionate fan base for this series, and Titan is definitely getting eyes on it. Superman American Alien is outselling all other Superman titles. It's been doing so well for us that I'm surprised DC hasn't tried to lock in Max Landis for another miniseries.
