DC Comics co-publisher Dan DiDio told him that in the future, retailers would be able to see such covers before the final deadline to order them and, apparently, bet him one American dollar that this would happen going forward.

Barger writes,

This is the second time since the roadshow this has happened, and since I'm still waiting on my dollar from Jim Lee 2 years ago when Detroit swept the Yankees, I'm wondering if Anyone at DC can't keep a promise with retailers.

I'm sure Dan and Jim will happily pay up, Dennis. Just turn up on the DC Comics doorstep and get past security…
