Jonathan Hickman Defends Jean Grey's Costume in Coded Message
Superstar writer Jonathan Hickman took to Twitter Tuesday with a coded message in defense of Jean Grey's costume. Ditching the costume she had been wearing in X-Men Red, Jean appears in House of X #1 in her classic green miniskirt Marvel Girl costume. Hickman posted an image of Phil Noto's House of X #1 variant with Krakoan letters over it which read "Free thighs for a free people."

Of course, there could be other reasons behind Jean's reversion to her past look, but Hickman is taking his time revealing why the X-Men of HoXPoX are so different from the ones we last saw at the end of Uncanny X-Men. Maybe he never will.
In addition to his defense of Jean's costume, Hickman also revealed yesterday that Powers of X #6 had a higher print run than Powers of X #1 in a tweet urging retailers to order X-Men #1 on that day's final order cutoff, which has now passed.

Now that's a tease! Who could he be talking about? We'll find out tomorrow.
