Little Rocket Raccoon Gets a Big Power Upgrade in Avengers: No Road Home #9 (Spoilers)

Avengers: No Road Home #9 hits stores this week, the penultimate chapter of this 10-part weekly Avengers event, from the creative team of Al Ewing, Jim Zub, Mark Waid, and Paco "Funky Cold" Medina. No Road Home has already changed so much, particularly by bringing Conan the Barbarian into the proper Marvel Universe, amongst other things. But in this week's issue, both our heroes and our villain, Nyx, are presented with an opportunity to have any wish granted.

We've already seen what some of them wish for already. And each of their wishes will have repercussions to come. But it's Rocket who casually reveals a fateful desire…

And later, that desire plays out when… wait, is "orally" really how you're supposed to use Pym Particles? I suppose there are worse options…

And Rocket is a whole new raccoon…

As if mega-cuteness and biting sarcasm weren't already big enough powers! Of course, Rocket seems to be marked for death soon, at the hands of the bloodthirsty Donny Cates, so he might as well live it up while he still has the chance.
