One Comic Store Closes, Another Sells Justice League Run To Open
Eighty year old Joseph Liesner is closing his comic store, Comic Book Heaven in Queens, New York, after almost thirty years, blaming his age and everything going digital.
"The kids today play video games and spend all day texting their friends," Liesner said. "Gone are the days when kids would collect things, like stamps and sports cards."
Which is odd, because comics are one of the few print media to buck the digital trend and sell more…
Meanwhile, one fellow is selling his long run of Justice League on eBay, issues 1 to 261, for £7000 to fund the reopening of a comic book store in St Louis.
Maybe they should get in touch with each other?
