Alan Moore And Jacen Burrows' Providence #1 Debuts At Denver Comic Con With Variant Cover

For those waiting in longsuffering fashion for May 27th to roll around, the release date for issue #1 of Alan Moore and Jacen Burrows' H.P. Lovecraft-inspired Providence, there's a surprise in store. The first issue of Providence, fully scripted by Alan Moore, will actually hit collectors' hands early, at Denver Comic Con, which runs from the night of May 22nd through 25th.

Avatar Press, Providence's publisher, will have a big presence at the con, including a wide range of guests, and they've produced a DCC exclusive variant of the first issue of Providence for the occasion. With a special cover drawn by Jacen Burrows, and painted by Michael DiPascale, it will be limited to 1000 copies and available from the Avatar Booth at DCC for $10.00.
