Geek Chic Gets Mo' MoneyHe helped create MTV. He headed up AOL, Six Flags Network and AOL Time Warner amongst many others… and made a shed load of money in that time. So what does a man do with all those billions?

Well, he gives some to Gareb Shamus.

Bob Pittman has invested in the Shamus' daily newsletter GeekChic. Because where else is Bob Pittman going to learn about Iron Man sneakers or the latest design in Stormtrooper helmet?

Also I understand that Bob really wanted to read the Maxx 1/2 issue that Wizard gave away years ago, and Gareb Shamus was the only person he could find who had a copy going spare.

This will accompany Pittman's investment in other email newsletters, Daily Candy, Thrillist and Tasting Table.
