It was a big weekend for Fan Expo, it seems, and there was certainly some interesting news coming out of the show — and in case you missed it, something's going on with Nightwing. John Cunningham had no comment on what will be happening with Nightwing in Forever Evil. He would only say 'the internet is going to explode on September 4th and it's all going to be about Nightwing.'

This week, Marvel advertised the release of the first trailer featuring Galactus for the upcoming Lego Marvel Superheroes game, and whether you're a fan of the Lego-based fantasy and superhero video games or not, there's a particularly strange sense of awe when viewing those sequences. Maybe Galactus in any form, no matter how whimsical, is still duly alarming.
Over on Twitter, Rob Liefeld is pointing out that in Stormwatch #20 we got a new Lobo origin from the venerable Jim Starlin and artist Yvel Guichet.
During yesterday's BFI celebration of the Ninth Doctor, host Justin Johnson read out a specially prepared message from Christopher Eccleston, a man I think gets far too little credit for his part in resurrecting the long-dormant series with sufficient credibility. But I've been hearing for weeks that the screen is about to be closed down, mashed up and turned into a number of smaller screens. Some folk have said that there will be two screens taking its place, others have said as many as four.
