Pokemon Go Or Pokemon Stop? You Decide.

News is swirling around about The Pokemon Company's latest release, the virtual reality app game Pokemon GO! Chances are, you've heard some negative feedback about people finding themselves in not-so-great situations thanks to the game. That's the thing about Pokemon Go…you have to get up and walk! It's a bit of a change for some people. Things like armed robbers and dead bodies weren't what the creators had in mind I'm sure, but things happen.

But what about the actual game? Is it all it's cracked up to be? I'm not going to lie. When I went for a walk the other day and all of a sudden found myself standing in front of an Eevee, well…

It's cool. It's a really fun concept and tugs at nostalgic strings all over the place. This is the dream isn't it? To walk around catching Pokemon in real life! However, is the app really that good? As far as tutorials go, good luck figuring most things out on your own. It seems like there are many layers of the game to be explored, but the developers aren't going to explain much of it to you. Luckily, folks on the internet are pretty helpful.

The game crashes and freezes a lot, but that's to be expected. There will be flaws…tons of them, as months go on. What might be the most important thing about the game is the fact that it's bringing people together. I stopped at a local community college with my boyfriend yesterday to interact with a Pokemon Gym for the first time. While there, we encountered a couple other people doing the same exact thing. While I expected this sort of thing in major cities…

I didn't expect it to be happening around my small town in New Jersey. None the less, it's a really wonderful thing. People coming together for something positive like Pokemon, isn't the worst thing we could be doing. It's also pretty cool to catch a Dratini when you're getting a coffee from a local convenience store. I have faith that the app will do just fine…they have some bumps to iron out, but in a few weeks, I'll report back with a deeper review. Until then, good luck being the best, like no one ever was.

Also, take a look at this…
