Two New Shorts, From Wes Anderson And Roger Michell

Sure, they're shilling phones and menswear, but these are still pretty great.

First up, a very Wes Anderson-y Wes Anderson short, featuring Jason Schwartzman as a race car driver who crashes in what happens to be his ancestral lands. It's for Prada, but not blatantly so, and I would actually love to see a feature of this. Oh well, for now it's a nice little something to tide us over until Grand Budapest Hotel.

Roger Michell has also shot a short film, starring singer Ellie Goulding and it's a rom com very much in the wheelhouse of the Notting Hill and Morning Glory director. Part music video, part ad, it does feature new music from Goulding and also prominently displays the Nokia Lumia 1020, on which the entire film is shot. External mics though, budding future filmmakers, so keep that in mind before you run out and buy it.
