Normally at Big Punch Studios we specialise in making comics. You may even have heard of a couple of a couple of our titles. We're the team responsible for Afterlife Inc., 7STRING and Cat & Meringue. We also publish Big Punch Magazine, a quarterly magazine serialising four ongoing titles from across our shared multiverse, which just celebrated the release of its third issue.

Now, however, we're trying our hand at something a bit different; something that finally unites our two greatest loves outside of comics: game design and… sandwiches!?

Sandwich Masters, the first card game from Big Punch Studios, is currently live on Kickstarter.

Sandwich Masters (as the name might suggest) is a game about sandwiches. And strategy. Oh, and sabotage. You see, the aim of the game is to make sandwiches. Players compete to build sandwiches using ingredients cards in order to complete orders and earn noshbucks. The first person to earn 50 noshbucks is the winner.

But in the race to make money, standards are easily forgotten. Each good ingredient also comes with an evil counterpart. Hungry customers won't notice the difference (is that beef or a live cow, bacon or facon?) but if someone plays a Health Inspector card in front of you, expect a hefty fine! And then, of course, there are the Attack Condiments. Play the Broken Glass or Sneeze card in your opponents' sandwich and laugh maniacally as the Health Inspector destroys them.
