SDCC '15: The Paramilitary SUVs Of Colony/Uber Ferrying Fans
By Frazer Brown
SDCC attendees could snag a free ride thanks to 'Colony' and I spotted one 'in the wild' while at the convention.
UBER had this to say:
The COLONY "Transportation Domination" will provide Comic-Con attendees with complimentary rides using a fleet of hundreds of COLONY branded units including military vehicles and SUVs, bicycles from 23 DecoBike stations and pedicabs, beginning Thursday, July 9 and continuing through Saturday, July 11 from 10:00 AM –10:00 PM PT daily. The massive squadron of custom-designed COLONY branded military vehicles and SUVs will be available for request via the Uber app by selecting the COLONY option. Additionally, one lucky participant will win a ride with COLONY creators Carlton Cuse ("Lost," "Bates Motel") and Ryan Condal ("Hercules")
I'm sure they were in huge demand as people's feet get worn out traversing the con floor… Did you catch one?
