Back in August, Sean Gordon Murphy declared that his upcoming Batman mini-series, Batman: White Knight, "is not SJW Batman."

"Batman: White Knight is not SJW Batman," Murphy tweeted at the time, seemingly out of nowhere. ""Not that it should matter, but I'm center-left. And I wrote a Gotham for everyone."

The statement prompted questions, such as what exactly Murphy meant, and why he needed to say it. Asked these questions by a Daily Dot staff writer, Murphy elaborated on his position:

But wait a minute… if Murphy is in the center, then which side is the other side? And what about the original question? We'll let you know when Murphy clarifies on Twitter in another two weeks.
