Storm Calls Out Logan's Philandering in Next Week's Return of Wolverine #3

Wolverine is finally back… er, almost… and his former teammates in the X-Men know it, with Jean Grey having detected Logan via Cerebro at the end of Return of Wolverine #2. In next week's Return of Wolverine #3, Jean, Storm, and Kitty Pryde wonder whether this is the good ol' Wolverine they know and love, or something else. After all, the long and drawn out events of the Hunt for Wolverine mini-series event seemed to indicate Logan might no longer be on the side of the angels.

As Storm remarks, however, this is probably the real logan, based solely on Logan's history of philandering.

Unfortunately, as we've seen from solicits and preview of upcoming issues of Uncanny X-Men, it won't be until February's Uncanny X-Men #12 that Logan finally rejoins the X-Men. And by then, it may be too late, with everyone but Cyclops off in a utopian future world as part of Age of X.

Wolverine's return has been one long, long, long series of missed connections, but hopefully he'll finally be back for good soon, if for no other reason than so that we can stop buying various Return of Wolverine mini-series.

Return of Wolverine #3 hits stores next Wednesday.

Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
