Wynd #1 – The Rarest One Per Store Ever From Boom?

This Wednesday sees the surprise release of Wynd #1, as we told you about first, from James Tynion IV and Michael Dialynas. The historic Boom Studios series arrives at the perfect time for readers of JT4, with big Big Tynion Energy at an all-time high thanks to the huge success of his Batman run and a potential Punchline comic book too.

Now with the interest in JT4 at an all-time high, we're hearing that the one-per-store variant by Dan Mora on Wynd #1 is the rarest on a launch issue since the company began this program in 2019 with Faithless #1.

Don't forget what happened the first time Dan Mora kicked off a series with a one-per-store variant in Once & Future #1 – CGC graded 9.8 copies still sell for $149.99 and raw copies at $59.99.

Even a recent one per store variant for Once & Future is already at $14.99 and likely to skyrocket when speculators realize it's the rarest one-per-store cover of the series.

And we'd be remiss in not mentioning that Wynd #1 is the same comic that had a variant selling for $179 before FOC, so Wynd is already on track to continue Boom's fourteen streak of every launch being a sure thing with speculators and a must-read for readers.

If you haven't already called your LCS to snap up the Wynd #1 one per store yet, you might wanna do so right now – because chances are it's going to end up on a lot of top ten lists by week's end.

Wynd #1 is on-sale in comic shops this Wednesday, June 17th.
