Aquaman & The Renegade Emote Have Dropped Into Fortnite

More pop culture items have come to Fortnite this week as you got a new popular dance as an emote and Aquaman has arrived. We'll start with the DC Comics' addition as Epic Games has added the King of Atlantis, in all of his Jason Mamoa glory, to the game. He's no a solo purchase, however, as you need to get the Chapter 2 – Season 3 Battle Pass. Plus, you'll need to complete his five maritime Challenges in order to unlock his outfit, so it's actually a challenge to get your hands on him. Each of the challenges rewards you with a different piece of gear as you earn them week-to-week. After unlocking the Aquaman outfit, there will be another stop for you to pick up the Arthur Curry style, which will require a dive from the top of Gorgeous Gorge.

Aquaman isn't the only DC addition that came to the game this week as the company also added Black Manta to the mix, making him available to purchase in the shop. As you can see from the video here, they made him look and feel pretty awesome to get in and get out with. But as a reminder, it's just a skin, there's no fun bonus with him beyond the look.

Speaking of stuff to get in the shop, the other major addition to the game came in the form of an emote as the company has added The Renegade dance to Fortnite, as created and performed by Jalaiah. While a lot of people are excited, a lot of questions have come up as to what kind of licensing deal Epic Games and her have come to. Since the company posted social media with her tagged in it, and she has yet to mention them taking her moves, the assumption is they've reached some sort of deal. It'll be interesting to hear what the arrangement is.
