Blizzard Reveals Valeera Sanguinar For Heroes Of The Storm
The development team at Blizzard for Heroes of the Storm must not take any time off at all. Since Blizzcon they've rolled out Varian Wrynn, Ragnaros and Zul'jin. After coming off a free heroes weekend where the full roster of playable characters were unlocked, they have just put out a new video showing off a new hero, new skins and new mounts.
The two new skins are Lunar Li-Ming and Monkey King Samuro… possibly to coincide with the Chinese New Year. The new mounts are a Felsaber, a Lunar Rooster and a Nimbus Cloud. The last two may also tie to a Chinese New Year celebration.
As for the new playable character, its Valeera Sanguinar, a rather unique character in Warcraft lore. She is a Blood Elf rogue who was a companion and bodyguard for King Varian Wrynn, though she is neither Horde nor Alliance. With the death a King Varian, Valeera has joined the Uncrowned and is now in the sewers of Dalaran in the secret Hall of Shadows. She aids in the defeat of Akaari Shadowgore and the retrieval of the Fangs of the Devourer.
She also represents Rogues in Blizzard's card game Hearthstone.
