Dragon Ball FighterZ's Nintendo Switch Beta Looks To Be Starting Next Week
It's been revealed that Dragon Ball FighterZ beta for the Nintendo Switch will begin next week and last for two days.
Dragon Ball FighterZ has taken the fighting game community by storm in the last year. After several high profile misses by other big fighting game franchises, the scene needed a win, but more importantly, a surprise. The game absolutely found that spot and became the most popular sign-up at EVO this year. There was even talk that before Street Fighter V took the headlining spot at the event, that Dragon Ball FighterZ could dethrone the long-standing champion. That didn't come to pass, but the fact it was even a conversation is a huge show of confidence for Dragon Ball FighterZ.
The game's audience is only about to grow too. In September, the title will be launching on Nintendo Switch and to get players on board, it's going to be running an open beta for players to stress test the game. You really don't have long to wait for that now at all. As reported by Games Talk, (via Gematsu) that Dragon Ball FighterZ's beta will be landing next week, running from August 10 to 12 on the console. It is substantial too. The beta will bring 23 characters, the normal mode, the new 'extreme mode', Arena match and circle party match for up to six players. That is a lot to get your teeth into.
This is exciting to see, and it's great to think the game will soon be portable. Doing a few rotations and matches on the commute could be a great way to get a little practice in before work.
