EA Officially Announces a Burnout Paradise Remaster

EA Officially Announces a Burnout Paradise Remaster

EA has announced Burnout Paradise Remastered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a PC version to follow.

The announcement proves the previous Burnout Paradise rumors did have some truth to them. The remaster will include all eight pieces of DLC, including the Big Surf Island update. So you can enjoy the complete version of the game with updated graphics including 4K and 60FPS support on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro.

The original game came out 10 years ago on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, and was critically well-received. Eventually it went on to be considered a classic of the previous generation of consoles.

Pre-orders are open now for a March 16 release on console. EA Access members can dive in on March 9 with the First Play Trial for 10 hours of unrestricted gameplay. So you can totally speedrun the game during that trial, presuming thats what you're into. Granted, why you'd want to is beyond me, but some people just love to speed run everything they can.

A PC release is "coming soon," but there's no release date for when the game will release on Origin.

You can check out the official announcement trailer below, which is set to Guns 'n Roses "Paradise City." Naturally.
