Epic Games Has Launched Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3

Water, water, everywhere, and not a drop to drink appears to be the theme for Fortnite's Chapter 2 Season 3 as it launches today. After a season of spy games that ended in a countdown device containing some kind of weird weather machine flooded the earth, along with flashes of some weird existence where you end up in someone's office that controls all of this, players can now experience the season which is officially being called "Splashdown".

As usual, a few new additions have been thrown into the mix, like using sharks for transportation and having to defend yourself against a new set of enemies called Marauders. Plus the "island" now looking like a series of islands and floating structures that look more like a scene from Waterworld. You can see the map below along with screenshots of what the new season has to offer. You can also read a little more below and check out the trailers for both the season and the new Fortnite Battle Pass. Best of luck in the waves.

Waterproof: Survive more than just the Storm in the aftermath of its revenge. As the Island adapts to its flooded way of life, stay afloat and take on new challenges.

Reel 'Em In: Sharks may be item-hungry and dangerous, but they also make for fun transportation. Latch onto one with a Fishing Rod to ride, steer, and jump across the waters.

New Enemies: Defend yourself from new Marauders as they crash down onto the Island and challenge your survival.

Build-a-Brella: Make a distinctive splash. Buy the Battle Pass, level up and complete Challenges to build your very own custom Umbrella to show off when you drop in!

Below the Surface: As time goes on and water recedes, even more locations will be uncovered. And as the roadways become more open, you'll discover new ways to get around.
