Focus Home Interactive and Asobo Studio are Pairing Up Again
While A Plague Tale: Innocence has not yet launched, the game has done well in early previews. In fact, it's done so well that developer Asobo Studio and publisher Focus Home Interactive have already announced that they're working on a new project.
We don't know much about the new game, other than the fact that it will benefit from the creativity and passion of the studio that brought us The Crew, Quantum Break, and Recore.
"Focus Home Interactive is very proud to count Asobo, an incredibly talented French development studio, among its continuing partners. It is impressive to see what the studio is achieving with A Plague Tale – their very first in-house project. They have all the talent and creativity to build moving, entertaining, and emotional experiences, and we will continue giving them all our support to let them imagine and create amazing games in the future," said John Bert, COO of Focus Home Interactive.
"During our first collaboration on A Plague Tale: Innocence, we forged a strong relationship with Focus Home Interactive, based on shared values of commitment, and a perpetual search for quality and originality. Today, we're excited to continue this pioneering partnership with Focus on our new creation, which will take players out on a journey to a land of adventure," commented David Dedeine, CCO and Co-founder of Asobo Studio.
We'll likely learn more about the new game after A Plague Tale: Innocence ships on May 14, 2019.
