Latest Anthem Stream Shows off Game's Strongholds
BioWare held another live-stream for Anthem this week which focused mainly on the game's various strongholds. Players will be able to interact with the strongholds, which essentially function as dungeons within the game world of Anthem. Each stronghold offers a challenge with better rewards than you might find elsewhere in-game. The stream mostly showed a team of devs taking on the Temple of the Scars stronghold, which appears to be one of the earlier strongholds added to the game. The mechanics and design were rather simple, so we're willing to place a good bet it's one of the first dungeons a player will come across.
Naturally, no dungeon is complete without puzzles or enemies, and Anthem's strongholds are no different.
BioWare confirmed that the game will have a matchmaking service available for solo players to team up with others in order to take on the many strongholds. So you will be able to solo Anthem if you don't have a readily available group of players to form a party with.
We can expect to see more of the game in upcoming streams as BioWare seems to be keeping to a schedule for these, with a new stream hitting every Thursday. Fans also have two demos to look forward to, both a VIP demo and a regular demo for everyone. The open demo will run from February 1st to February 3rd.
Anthem is slated to release on February 22nd, 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
The stream is about an hour long, and you can check it out below.
