LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Will Have A Hidden Hulk Musical – But No X-Men
From New York Comic Con, courtesy of a round table with The Geekiary and software developers Arthur Parsons and Justin Ramsden, working on the new LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 game, they talked about how more playable items, characters and missions would be unlockable earlier in this game than in the previous ones, citing the Deadpool missions from the first game as only accessible when it has all been but completed. But neverthless hiding what they described as hilarious content still to be found.
One such scene? A Hulk Musical.
But no, no X-Men. That explanation was above their pay grade…
Of course, we have had Hulk Musicals before, Hulk School Musical…
Hulk: Inside And Out, supposedly a Broadway hit with Bon Jovi…
And, of course, Rick And Morty…
But never before in LEGO form.
Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is an upcoming Lego-theme action-adventure video game developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on 14th November 2017. It is the sequel to Lego Marvel Super Heroes and the third installment of the Lego Marvel franchise.
With the core gameplay following the same style of past Lego titles, the game features the ability to manipulate time and a four-player competitive superhero battling mode. Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2's storyline will centre around superheroes from different eras and realities of the Marvel Universe as they fight against the time-travelling Kang the Conqueror in a battle across space and time.
Oh and it was co-written by comic book writer Kurt Busiek. Who talks about that here with Bill Rosemann.
