"Mable & The Wood" Officially Launches On Steam Today

Graffiti Games and Triplevision Games have announced that their Metroidvania game Mable & The Wood has officially launched on Steam today. As the PC version comes out today, we're also currently waiting to find out what the release dates are for the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions. Check out the trailer below along with the announcement from the devs.

In Mable & The Wood players hunt down massive beasts and, upon destroying them, shapeshift into their form in order to use their power to save or destroy the world. Players with less violent intent can find secret paths to complete Mable without killing anything, including bosses. Unlike most Metroidvanias Mable does not allow players to run, jump and kill on their own. Instead, they must use non-human forms to attack creatures and traverse through difficult challenges.

"Mable is a passion project for me and for so long I worked on it by myself," said Andrew Stewart, Founder of Triplevision Games. "Thanks to Graffiti, I was able to have additional support to release the game sooner and on multiple platforms. Players on Steam can finally get their hands on the brilliant title today, and fear not Switch and Xbox One players, that version will be releasing very soon."
