Making the Sword of Altari From Assassin's Creed

I've posted a few of these Man At Arms videos when they made weapons for comic and video game characters. Now they are doing up a sword from the first Assassin's Creed game and though the Sword of Altair looks simple, it's one of the more detailed and difficult builds I've seen them do. The detail work on the hilt and handle is quite intricate and doing a reverse bevel on the blade is not a normal thing. Matt and Kerry Stagmer chose to do the blade from the game rather than from the new film, acknowledging the difficulties of making a successful adaptation so far.

Plus, as usual, they end with destroying a bunch of things with their newly crafted sword… as all of us would do.
