Mirage: Arcane Warfare Is Free On Steam This Weekend

If you need something to do between watching all the E3 Press Conferences this weekend, Torn Banner Studios has you covered. Their latest game, Mirage: Arcane Warfare will be free to play on Steam starting tomorrow at 10AM PDT and running through to Sunday, June 11th at 1PM PDT.

During the free weekend, players who have not yet made the plunge into a Torn Banner's world of magic, swordplay, and bloody decapitations can dive in and experience the world of Mirage for free. As an additional bonus, Mirage: Arcane Warfare will be on sale for an additional 10% off during the Free Steam Weekend.

The game originally launched on Steam on May 23rd, Mirage: Arcane Warfare has extensive plans for post-launch content the first part of which is due to arrive in July. That first batch of new content will include new powers for Mirage's warriors, new skins, and two new 3 vs. 3 Arena maps:

The Pit – Beware of the exploding geyser in the center of this map, a sunken pit under the blaze of a hot desert sun. Prisoners are thrown into this arena to fight to the death, for the entertainment of their captors.

Old Arena – Located high in remote mountains, battle in this crumbling, forsaken gladiatorial arena with a twist. Avoid falling through the collapsed floor or risk losing your limbs in a death trap of painful wooden scaffolding!
