Night Call Receives The Long Way Home Content Update

Raw Fury and developers Monkey Moon and BlackMuffin have released a new update for Night Call titled "The Long Way Home". If you haven't had a chance to play the game, you essentially play a cab driver working the late shift in Paris. When traveling, people like to talk, and they will talk to you about almost anything. Throughout the evening you'll notice a series of events happening that you'll need to pay close attention to because one of your passengers is a serial killer. You'll use a bit of deductive reasoning and memory skills to piece together who it is before you yourself end up a victim. To add to the game, the new update has the following additional content added below.

  • Free-Roaming Mode: Sometimes you just want to roam the streets and enjoy some interesting conversations. Free-Roaming lets you do just that — this highly requested fan feature is perfect for drivers looking to relax and fill up their Passidex!
  • 15 New Passengers: 15 unique new riders to pick up and chat with, including a disgraced esports champ, a ghost hunter, and a robot trying to escape from its lab.
  • Revamped Passenger System: An overhaul to the passenger system which helps players avoid repeat encounters in a number of ways, including highlighting new passengers and suspects on the map, increasing the number of available passengers to choose from and more!
  • Technical Stuff: German language support added, plus bug fixes and other improvements!

As mentioned above, you'll see they added German to the mix of languages, with over 250k words in the game fully translated. There were also a ton of bug fixes that should bring about an end to some passengers not talking when they should be. But aside from the revamped passenger system, the big addition is the added passengers. If you play the game long enough, parts of it become repetitive. Now with a new set of 15 people added to the mix with their own dialogue, things are going to be getting back to being spicy. You can read all about the new additions in detail here.
