Nintendo Will Be Launching a Dr. Mario Mobile Game

Nintendo released new information today showing that a new mobile game is in the works featuring an NES classic with Dr. Mario. We didn't get any real details beyond this social media post, showing that the game will be called Dr. Mario World and that we can expect the game sometime in the summer of 2019.

Best guessing going around is that it will be like most Nintendo mobile titles, where you'll be getting a free-to-play puzzle game that will most likely resemble the original, but will come with a bunch of in-game purchases and microtransactions in cade you want to expand the game beyond the basics. Nintendo's mobile experimentation has been hit-or-miss, so we'll see how much nostalgia kicks in with people when the game comes around this summer. Hopefully, we'll get a preview of it at E3.
