The Open Beta For Gundam Versus Will Commence In September

Ah, the open beta test. More and more these are becoming nothing but extended demos and early access periods, but they do occasionally hold to their proper purpose. The beta for Gundam Versus hits weeks before the game's launch and might actually manage to be a proper beta test.

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced today that  the Open Beta Test for Gundam Versus will start from the 2nd September, 2017 08:00 BST and will end 4th September, 2017 08:00 BST. Testers will be able to pre-load the OBT game build on 29th August, 2017.

The Open Beta Test will feature the following content:

  • Player Match (Online mode)
    Casual Match (Online mode) – 1vs1, 2vs2, 3vs3
  • Ultimate Battle (Online / Offline mode) – 15 missions, 30 missions
  • Trial Battle (Offline mode) – 1 Route
  • Free Battle (Offline mode)
    Tutorial
  • 5 in-game music from "Missing Rink" and "Crossbone"

The game will be released on September 29, 2017 as a PlayStation 4 exclusive. This is the world wide launch of the game, which released early in July for the Japanese market and has done modestly well for itself.

The "Loads of Modes" trailer is below.

Built from the ground up exclusively for the PS4, GUNDAM VERSUS will have multiple game modes for everyone to enjoy!
