Pokémon Go Gets a Nice Inspirational Nature Documentary-Themed Trailer Starring Stephen Fry
Pokémon Go has gotten a snazzy new trailer showing off the new Pokémon added to the game recently.
While the fervour of Pokémon Go's launch is a distant memory, don't let that fool you that the game is dead. It still had a very dedicated fanbase and it is continually getting updates too. Case in point: it recently got a pretty big content drop. That included a bunch of Gen 3 Pokémon, which has given the game new life to get players to pursue their Pokémon Master dreams.
To celebrate that, a new trailer has hit showing off some of the new creatures landing across the world. From the duo of Plusle and Minun to the massive Wailord, the trailer really takes a neat nature documentary-esque approach to sell what it's like to have Pokémon in our real world. To really give it that perfect touch, sometimes nature documentary voiceover (and often actor/presenter), Stephen Fry lends his voice to the trailer, while Planet Earth composer George Fenton also gives a rousing musical touch to it to sell the majesty of Pokémon.
All these new changes have been out for a little bit, but this is a great way to try and entice people back in. It's a fun trailer with a really neat tone to it. Everyone seemingly got into the game when it first launched, but the question is can it get all those players back? As I said, things are supposedly healthy and now would seem the time to hop back in if you wanted new content. Perhaps the trailer will inspire you.
