Retro PC Shooter Hellbound Receives A Gameplay Trailer & Release Date

Argentinian developer Saibot Studios and publisher Nimble Giant revealed a new gameplay trailer and release date today for Hellbound. The devs released what is essentially a tour de force of their game as you get over six minutes of content in the video we have for you at the bottom. For those of you who grew up playing DOOM and Quake, this should feel like a welcomed step back in time as you get to run and gun your way through multiple levels of hell, killing enemies with a variety of weapons in what is basically a bloody mess. We have the trailer for you below along with a couple of quotes from the developers about the game's release. Speaking of which, that will be taking place on Steam on August 4th, 2020. Enjoy checking out the footage for the game as you'll be able to purchase it in about three weeks.

"Hellbound: Survival Mode has been available on Steam for two years, and the response from old school shooter fans has been incredible! We've learned a lot since the demo's release, and have fueled that into the creation of a full-fledged campaign that will test players' mettle as they carve their way through demons as fast as they can! Speed is the name of the game in Hellbound," says Tobias Rusjan from Saibot Studios.

"This is a milestone for everyone at Nimble Giant as Hellbound is the first project where we are acting as a publisher.
