Someone Made A "Super Mario Maker 2" Version of "Downwell"

As crazy as it may seem, there's someone on Super Mario Maker 2 who went to the trouble to make a Downwell level for people to play in the game. The video below is kind of self-explanatory, but for the sake of it all, here's some brief info. Downwell is a 2015 indie game developed by Moppin and published by Devolver Digital that got some pretty decent praise when it came out. The game has you using enemies and physics to glide your way down an endless pit of horrors, trying to survive while picking up powers and abilities along the way to make the job easier. It's one of those games you can get lost in for hours just having all sorts of fun finding new combos and ways of doing things. We kinda wish they made a sequel…

Anyway, cut to today where Boomstick Gaming made his own version of the game in Super Mario Maker 2, now that the game allows you to make vertical levels. This one is actually quite genius and we recommend you watch the entire video and get the code to try it out yourselves and get the high score. But beware, it's not for the faint of heart as you need to do it on one of the hardest settings in order to play the full map. Best of luck to all of you!
